WHAT IS THE BURTON LIFETIME WARRANTY?

Burton's lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.

The lifetime product warranty applies to the following products:

• [ak] Outerwear (since 2003)
• Binding plates (since 2005)
• Bag collections (since 2009)

These products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner with proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. If your product ever fails you due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair it free of charge or replace it at our discretion.

Normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, cosmetic damage, improper care, or impacts/accidents are not covered by this warranty. Wear and tear from use is a natural occurrence, as is unavoidable deterioration resulting from normal use and exposure. Losses or costs incurred due to inability to use are not covered by this warranty.

'Lifespan' refers to the product's lifespan, not the customer's lifespan. A product's lifespan depends on how well it's cared for and how intensively it's used. Outdoor adventures can be brutal on your belongings, and taking care of your gear will extend the life of your product.
