SUP season opening Sunday 28/04/24 Biebrza rafting
On Sunday, April 28, we open the SUP season with a rafting trip along the most beautiful section of the Biebrza River!
The route runs entirely through the Biebrza National Park, away from human settlements.
The river in this section is easy, slightly meandering, no trees or other navigational obstacles in the current.
Deep water, short river fins are not needed.
On the route we will meet thousands of birds, often found only in the Biebrza marshes :-)
Park entrance tickets and rafting permits are required on the rafting route (limited to 25 per day).

We travel this route 2-3 times a year and it always delights with something new.
We start at the Bóbr Campsite in Osowiec Twierdza at 9:00 AM.
Own transport (travel time from Warsaw approx. 2.5 hours)
Accommodation is organised on your own, on-site showers with hot water, toilets, bonfire shelter, 120 places, contact 796 310 511
Alternatively, there is a large selection of agritourism places in the area.
We propose 2 episodes:
- shorter: Osowiec – Biały Grąd 13 km, approx. 2.5 hours of paddling
- longer: Osowiec – Biały Grąd 13 km / Biały Grąd – Brzostowo 24.5 km total 37.5 km approx. 6 hours of paddling

NOTE: It is not possible to shorten sections of the trip because, apart from Biały Grąd and Brzostowo, there is no way to get to the river by car.
Transfers after the trip are provided by ArTour Artur Bielawski.

Price per person depending on the number of participants: PLN 50-80 in Biały Grąd and PLN 80-100 in Brzostowo
Requirements :
- basic fitness and technique on the Osowiec – Biały Grąd 13 km section
- good physical condition and greater expedition experience on a longer section of 37.5 km
- SUP board, preferably Touring type with a leash
A limited number of Starboard Touring test boards are available to participants.
- life jacket, aquapac for the phone, waterproof bag for provisions and spare clothes
