The new Burton Step-On Bindings and Boots collection is now available.
Burton Step On is a new system for quickly attaching snowboard boots to bindings.
Burton worked extensively on the project, and thanks to 3D printing technology, the result was achieved. The new Burton Step-On bindings function properly thanks to a system of carefully constructed wedges. These are located on the sides of the boots and at the back near the heel. The wedges allow the boots to be connected to the board extremely quickly and securely. Simply press the boots into the Burton bindings with the appropriate force.
Using an intuitive lever, we can detach them quickly and easily at any time.
From now on, using traditional bindings with compression straps won't be necessary. We all know that while they perform admirably, are sturdy, and reliable, the process of tightening them can be tedious. Thanks to the Burton Step On, we'll be ready to ride in a flash. At the same time, we can be sure that this incredibly modern snowboarding equipment won't let us down, even in the most extreme moments.
Step on Bindings – Burton Leads the Way in Technological Innovation
The wedge system, which allows for simple board attachment, is a truly innovative solution. The satisfactory results achieved during development of the new bindings were achieved thanks to the use of 3D printing. This technology allowed for the production of a vast number of prototypes, which were ready for testing almost immediately. The creation of the Burton Step On clearly demonstrates the advancement of snowboard technology to an even higher level. Along with the bindings, Burton also produced a compatible line of Step On™ boots. These boots allow for the full use of this technology. Currently, the Limelight Step On and Photon Step On™ models are available. The boots are equipped with the necessary wedges, which are the basis for the operation of Step On bindings. Burton also ensured full compatibility of the new bindings with all snowboards available on the market, regardless of the mounting system used. When choosing Step On boots, don't forget to order anti-slip pads for the board, which are available in the accessories category.
For the 2020/2021 season, we present a new, stiffer model of Burton Step-On bindings reinforced with carbon fiber and new color versions, both in the women's and men's collections.
