Snowboarding in spring? - Where can we still go snowboarding?

We often hear that the last trips of the season should be planned for the first half of March. But do we really have to end the season in March? It's well known that in Poland, apart from Kasprowy Wierch, we won't be able to ski anymore, and the slopes at Kasprowy won't appeal to everyone. 🇦🇹 Austria - a perfect choice! The journey from the Polish border to Austria takes about 6 hours.

1) Hintertux - open all year
2) Kitzsteinhorn / Kaprun – great snowpark and plenty of snow
3) Stubai – wide slopes, good for all levels
4) Sölden – two glaciers, long season

Another option are resorts in Switzerland 🇨🇭, a bit further and unfortunately a bit more expensive

1) Zermatt – very high, excellent conditions
2) Saas-Fee – glacier + guaranteed snow

Moving on, we can consider one resort in the Italian Alps 🇮🇹

1) Cervinia – long season + plenty of sun, as befits Italy

Finally, the furthest option is France 🇫🇷 with two excellent resorts worth considering
1) Val Thorens – the highest large resort in Europe
2) Tignes – skiing is often possible there even in May

Looking at this, we have a pretty good list of resorts where we can definitely still ski in spring. To summarize, Austria is a bullseye, quite close and all glaciers. Next, Switzerland is a bit further and more expensive, but worth our attention. Italy and France are unfortunately the furthest from Poland, but it's worth going there at least once. We assure you that once you go, you'll want to go every year. The French slopes are indescribable, very long and wide, everyone will find something for themselves.
