The men's Burton [ak] Hover GORE-TEX C-Knit 3L Stretch Jacket is one of the lightest and most packable shell jackets in the [ak] line. GORE C-Knit provides a lightweight, soft feel for natural range of motion, while its minimalist design offers all the essential vents, pockets, and adjustability without adding bulk. The lightweight construction easily fits into a pack when you're on the trail, while also providing reliable storm protection and breathability so you can enjoy a leisurely day at the resort or in the great outdoors.
Light and storm-resistant
STAY DRY™ GORE-TEX 3L is lighter than 2L GORE-TEX fabric, yet it's waterproof, windproof, breathable and durable enough to keep you moving freely in any weather.
Soft, flexible, light
Three-layer GORE-TEX with C-Knit insert is softer, lighter and just as durable, waterproof and breathable as regular GORE-TEX 3L.
Ready for snow
The minimalist design keeps the weight down while still offering key features like large pockets to keep the jacket warm between laps, underarm zips for ventilation against the skin, a removable waist gaiter with a jacket-to-pant connection, Power Mesh wrist gaiters, waterproof zippers, and an adjustable hood for full coverage when riding in the rain.
Practical pockets
Interior mesh pockets, a bicep pass pocket, a zippered chest pocket, zippered handwarmer pockets and an interior zippered chest pocket provide secure storage and easy access to your essentials.

- Arm
Measure from the center of the back of your neck, across the top of your shoulder, along the outside of your arm, over your elbow to the top of your wrist, measured with your arm bent at a 90-degree angle and your hand placed on your hip.
- Chest
Place the tape measure under your armpits and measure the circumference of your chest at the widest point.
- Natural Waist
Measure the circumference of your natural waist at its narrowest point.
- Hips
Measure the circumference around the widest part of your hips.
- Body Inseam / Inside Leg
Measure from the top of your inner thigh along your leg to the bottom of your ankle. If you prefer long pants, measure to the bottom of your foot.
- Garment Inseam
Using well-fitting trousers, measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg. For overtrousers, we recommend ensuring the cuffs don't bunch up too much at the front.
