Anon Merak WaveCel Helmet

The Merak WaveCel helmet from Anon combines revolutionary WaveCel protection with a dual-hybrid construction of a dent-resistant Endure shell on top and a lightweight In-Mold construction on the bottom with 19 active ventilation channels. WaveCel is a collapsible cellular structure that lines the interior of the helmet and can reduce impact and rotational forces by flexing to reduce initial force, crumpling to reduce impact velocity, and sliding to help redirect energy away from the head. The BOA® 360° fit system provides a quick, micro-adjustable fit with the turn of a dial, while the magnetic Fidlock® helmet strap buckle allows for easy one-handed operation, even with gloves.

Fit to the head

WaveCel helmets are designed to fit closer to the head, providing a snug, comfortable fit. Please refer to our size chart for accurate measurements. If you're between sizes, you can choose the larger size. Weight: 480 g

WaveCel® technology

WaveCel® acts like a network of hundreds of interconnected shock absorbers connecting the head to the helmet's outer shell. WaveCel® helps distribute impact energy through a network of cells, reducing impact forces like a car's crumple zone, and then helps reverse rotational forces through flexion and sliding.

50/50 hybrid shell

50/50 hybrid shell construction combines Endura® shell and injection molded shell construction for wear-resistant durability and lightweight performance.

Active ventilation

Active ventilation with 8 vents, 19 in total, allows you to easily adjust your temperature with open settings for maximum airflow, closed settings for heat retention, and everything in between. Snow Stopper material retains heat and provides comfort in cold conditions while preventing snow from entering the vents.

360° BOA® fit system

The 360° BOA® fit system in the helmet shell features a fit dial just below the helmet shell that allows for micro-adjustment in a full halo around the wearer's head.
