SurfEars are the only earplugs that protect your ears without affecting your balance or external sound. Thanks to a special membrane, the earplugs keep water out while allowing sound to pass through. Ordinary, sound-proof earplugs disrupt our orientation and balance in the water.
The idea arose amid the growing popularity of "surfer's ear," a very common illness among cold-water surfers. As it later turned out, there were far more problems, such as water pollution in warmer areas.
